But that didn't happen on any level, they promised something and didn't deliver. If they did then Savage Oppress would be a frickin' animal in arena and this thread would be about him instead of Rey.
I've played a lot of WoW PVP and COD PVP and I've never seen a PVP game that was 100% balanced. There's always some class or weapon or something that is slightly better than the rest. Rey is not the only strong attacker. I can routinely hit anywhere from 10k to 15k with g10 Leia. A guildmate has g11 FOTP and that dude puts up 10k double taps regularly and his second ability is just sick too. Rex against a high HP target hits pretty hard with that bonus damage modifier he has. A couple of the best arena squads I've seen do not include Rey at all, so she's not everywhere. On my shard alone only a couple top-10 squads use Rey, still see more Dooku leads than Rey. I think I see more Leia than anything because her Stealth ability is so good and does comparable damage to Rey.
Yes QGJ can get 1-shotted with Rey if she has offense up, but part of the problem is he so darn hard to gear-up that most QGJ's you run across will be squishy.
I don't think that the issue is with Rey as much as it is that they didn't scale other DPS characters very well with the survivability levels of gear 10 and gear 11. They really just need to buff other characters and bring them up to speed. They're "re-working" certain characters so maybe we'll see some improvements.
