Panic Farming :) double drops?

It's funny when people here say "well known" and act like there was actual time to do this. There wasn't. In addition the drop rates are nowhere near 33 or whatever %. The double drops and packs (ones you pay with shards) for the BB8 event sucked. Fact is a bunch of people aren't going to be on this forum or the game 24/7 like some of you all are. They're not going to catch secretive hints or whatever.

So, you're a fairly new player? You might as well accept the fact, that you won't be able to get every charachter in the game. It's a game if resource management. You need to plan and choose what to farm carefully — and hence also choose what NOT to farm. If you don't get Thrawn this time around, then just sit back and relax. You will get him eventually. Just continue farming Phoenix at your own pace. And you might as well enjoy your game while doing so.

Thx. Not new. 2016 September. I had a long break. But I will have him 6*. I do panic farming for Sabine. I need 80 shards but hope is there that the last day I will have Thrawn 7*. 8 days left:). Resource Management? The same concept was implemented in ERP IT systems for business. But this is not business but only the game. If I want to play like I want to play, so sometimes I do things opposite like selling the best 50 mods fully upgraded couse I got bored by resource management. Or giving away all gear to guild mates. Or spending crystals for training droids which i had thousends. Or spending credits for two stars toons to get them to lvl85 and not to use them in game. I never felt that I didnt have enough in this game gear, credits, mods, toons. Grinding for me is the most boring thing for any game. I dont think that buying is the same as playing the game. Thrawn for me is the last toon I spent so much time to farm, never again. I remember time when EP was coming, I did all Rebels in 3 weeks. PheoniX will be more than 6 weeks. This is not for me. Last time. I used to play games where I was farming for almost 9 months one toon. I had patience, but not anymore.
