How about you wait until after the last payout for the day has passed so no one gets screwed?

No all they had to do was update it at the last bracket of the day. Not rocket science this one!

What they did instead was update it at the same time that they always do

Its a global game with PO every 30 mins to an hour, so there is no way for it to be fair to everyone

hence the 500 crystals

Take 2300 utc as the update time and they did exactly what you suggest.

But they can't really do that with something like this because they need to be in the office when everything is updated in case the update breaks the game. Yeah, the gear thing must be a bug because it should be there.

Shouldn't lose 500 because you should get some sort of crystal payout that we will normally get in GAC off-weeks. Won't be 500 but you'll get some amount.

It doesn't get much later in the day without being the next day.

It is funny how Americans are crying about the loss of payout, yet pretty much every other update CG does screws over everyone not in an American timezone, like when they turn on double drops at their time, but cut off on your last day's reset... get over it guys

So utc is 12 hours difference from international dateline, if they are going to give ‘dates’ for when things are to be changed, should be coded for date line!

Using utc on a date time based game will always screw half the player base!

Sure, if they told me about this before I used my second po change to offset the clock change in November.... :/
