Please Explain the Mechanics - Padme

I feel like in most events I can look at a characters kit and even though they're kicking my teeth in and it's frustrating to lose obviously I can at least understand why plus sprinkle in some RNG and...

The mechanics are such that any direct dmg to a enemy puts up protection up and so you want aoe damage. Assist dmg such as b1 also causes protection up to occur. If call an assist you get an undispelled protection up. So the key is at for me was to focus on gk and keep spraying aoes then hold gg aoe until they start getting low on health then destroy them using gg aoe. Worked great. A lot of people had success focusing on padme and doing a similar strategy since jolee fishdo can't revive padme. Hope that helps
