I personally wouldn't mind the first option, mine is almost 7*, i'd slap some gear and mods on him and i'm good to go.

Ultimately does it matter? Even if he was buffed to become a cookie cutter he will reign supreme in a meta for a few months then go back to a niche toon due to meta changes just like tons of toons do.

I've had mine maxed for awhile now and he is good and I enjoy him just like I had bobba geared and leveled before update but everyone dosent use bobba now tho he does have a fair amount of uses
