Please Please Please- add Relic upgrades to Guild Chat notifications

So you want a notification for each relic level? You understand that the chat will be flooded with these, and the actual chat feature will become useless.

Maybe then in steps. Like R1, R5, R7, R8, R9

Just think of a GL. You have the activation notification, G9-g13 and then if it was every relic level, that would be another 7-9. Plus the 6 zetas. In total that would be 18 - 20 notifications from one person. There is only 50 texts lines able to be displayed at one time. That would be 36-40% of it.

For me, R5, R7 and R9 would fine. I do think it is nice to see some recognition outside of R9.

Many Guilds, like mine, are not so affected. It takes us some time between upgrades. And I would be delighted to let go of one line of chat to cheer for my friends achievement

Who unlocks a GL without having the gear/relic mats/zetas and a full set of mods ready and waiting for them? Planning costs nothing.

On the topic, I’d rather see r3/5/7/8/9, as those are usually the benchmarks needed for a GL/CS.

I do.
I find no joy in hoarding for one character when I can disperse my resources among a broad collection of characters and teams in order to enjoy more of facets or modes of gameplay available. I am not interested in pouring resources or money into one character that will stand alone without a reasonably developed team to support it. I have plenty of time and patience for a slow methodical approach, where I will get more enjoyment. It’s a game, not a job.

Than you're knee capping yourself. You should have the gear and zetas saved.

Why don't you find joy in using your new shiny right away? Generally the GL you unlock, has the full, or partial team as reqs. Being able to hoard requires patience, which is a good trait to have in life.

As for being in "unicorn territory" you clearly are in a smaller guild if you think that.

Yes, I think there is room for something here.

They had to back off the notifications at one point because of performance reasons, which is probably why it only does the max relic. However, I think they should do it at r7+.

You’re probably right- I am likely doing a lot of things the hard way. I’ve only recently started to learn how to get more out of the game and squeeze more tactical advantages out of the lineup I have

I kind of like my guild, we range from 10m to 10k players and we are proud of the way we help out these newer players go through their early stages and quests. We just qualify for entry into the events and raids that allow a gentle trickle of high end rewards.

Myself, I’m a mid range player with an affinity for the original trilogy characters and an aversion for the prequel characters. Im really only interested in characters that are fun for me and not necessarily the shiniest newest meta.

Im just saying this to highlight the fact that there is room for many/any styles of play. The game is nearly as large as the SW universe itself. It’s probably okay if someone doesn’t do it like you.
