As a mobile player, I rarely have trouble distinguishing the portraits. Some exceptions to those are 501st, the Chewies and Geos, but even then it's just a case of memorisation - exactly as it was before the portrait updates. Hux kinda just looks like General Pryre, but I still know it's Hux.

I couldn't disagree more, and I'm not alone. Maybe, it's the size of phone you use. I like a compact phone as I dislike bags. I really can't tell the difference between so many things now and I'm forever making mistakes. The portrait update was a massive downgrade for me.
I recently was looking for some darkish guy with a blue face to do some mod swaps. I checked Cad Bane...no 5th brother....no. What other guys have a blue face? After about 40 minutes of wasted time I found out it was tie fighter pilot with a blue highlight to his helmet. That I had to do go through all of that, is total trash.
I don't know how on earth you're confusing Cad Bane with fifth brother. They look nothing alike
