Power creep at 100% now

Zetas will keep old toons relevant for a while.

The dark side meta is pretty solid and f2p, so not sure the power creep will extend much past the step it's at.

They seem to also be keeping the reworks coming and each rework has made the toon very reliable and solid in the current stage of the game.

There are still a lot of characters with level 7 abilities, I wouldn't worry about that until they stop adding to them

Just daze baze, and then blaze baze.

The main accelerant of the power creep are the new characters. These rogue one characters are virtually all more powerful than everything you farmed for the past year. Count Dooku vs Shore trooper? The all powerful QGJ vs Baze? How about Poe vs. Chirrut?

New characters that wipe everyone out of their GW farms cause power creep because they widen the gap and prevent catch up.

It's natural progression in power creep, new toons are always gonna seem OP at first.

Not always, just look at poor Kylo Ren

Along this line, I ran into a 7* max geared baze/chirrut + Wiggs and Sun Fac in GW that ate thru 15 gear 11 and 13 gear 10 guys on my roster. The only guy I killed was Wedge. That was the first time in months I wasn't able to finish GW.

Had similar experience with wedge (L) baze/chirrut/k2/jyn

That freaking heal from lead and chirrut nearly wiped me out...but i eventually won a completed war. (Fyi chirrut must die 1st...always) Toughest war in long long long time. Mauls aoe might have made a difference there but i dont have him there yet.

The Gear Grind will kill this game before the power creep.
