Hi everyone,Need some assistance on time frame to prepare for CLS...So far I only have 7* STHan.My primary concern is obviously R2, so empire team:Vader - currently 5*Palpatine - will 7* at next eventTFP - currently 2*Tarkin - currently 4*+ one other (have RG at nearly 4*)Need advice on whether I should just farm Magmatrooper, due to being the easiest from GW store or whether I push for RG on hard nodes??Basically then just want a time guide as to how long roughly it will take me to farm empire team and then team for CLS??I feel main issue may be the arena store with getting both Tarkin and Leia from there...(I currently get 500 shards from arena plus 200 from daily activity)Thanks

Stay away from Magma. I struggled with Vader, Tarkin, RG, Magma, Storm tring to get 6*. Never came close. Palpatine and/or Thrawn would have made a huge difference.I would focus on getting a rock solid empire team then go after Team Luke (Leia, Old Ben, Farm Luke).

Link your swgoh account? And you could farm magma since it doesn't interfere with others. I did the R2 event with EP, vader, rg, tfp, and tarkin. It's safe to say that r2 will be back prior to CLS so work towards empire first then CLS toons.

Moved to correct subforum.

Timeframe largely depends on how many crystals you can field a day. TFP and Old Ben are both easy cantina farms, so with 3 refreshes a day you can go 0-330 in about 17 days a piece. 22 days each if you only do 2 refreshes.

It will probably take you about 2 months to finish both Tarkin and Leia unless your arena rank goes up.

How is your Phoenix for Thrawn?

Magmatrooper is jot a good empire option. He is ok but not for tier vii in the event when the tmr from his specials is rendered useless. Maybe Storm trooper could suit in the cantina store, if not royal guard you need a tank.

stormtrooper is also wasy to get and a good tank. farm tfp from cantina node and use the currency for storm. keep buying vader from fleet shop. and tarkin from squad. With everyone spread across different farming sources you should have least trouble meeting the requirements this way.

I'm going to jump in here and point out that RG is also a fairly common drop from Bronzium cards as well. I mostly farmed him from there before they increased his shards for a full unlock to 10 shards, so maybe consider that as an additional farming location for him. Snowtrooper can also come from there at a fairly decent pace and I used him to unlock R2 at 5* at his first appearance.

My R2 7* team was EP (L), Vader, TFP, Tarkin, RG all at g8. It took around 50 tries to unlock him and I nearly threw my tablet, but it was doable.
