Problems with uploading images

I tried adding a humorous meme to a recent post (yet another F-34T one), but it came up with the error message "You do not have permission to add images to posts." Not "Invalid file type" or anything...

Can you send DMs? I seem to recall you couldn’t due to your age at some point in the past.

That’s probably the reason, if your account seems to have certain functionality unavailable.

I should be able to add images now, if your theory was correct (I won't specify when this change would have happened for privacy) yet it still comes up with the same error message about permissions. Which mod would be most likely to answer my question if I mention their name?
