Yes. Dropped everything I was farming and spent 100% of my resources on farming for JKR the second they added Bastilla to the game. Even neglected mods. It would have been much easier if I was getting top arena payout at the time, but back then I couldn't break the top 10. Obviously I can't prove that I didn't spend crystals four years ago, but in general the whole "xyz toon costs 123 dollars" thing has always just been overblown exaggerations by people who don't want to admit that they regret the way they distributed their in game resources.
