Proving Grounds

I'm fine with this on the whole but I have a couple of questions that I haven't seen asked:

Also looking beyond just CAT but down the line.

1. Like razor crest is currently will characters be available in the conquest store?
2. When there are multiple characters in the proving ground (those of us who have been stuck in intermediate mode will have many half complete characters) will you only be able to pick one a month? Or will you be able to collect shards for each toon and play through seperate events. I feel like the answer to that drastically changes my outlook on this!

New mode. Free to play. Pretty liberal door policy (any character at R3). Chance to finish off CAT or Razor Crest - and as far as I can see it’s completely optional.

If they would tell us the timeline they have planned, then we could deal with it.

EDIT: And then we can decide whether we want to wait for it and farm f2p or if it is worth some money to accelerate it

We need some more details on the event.
1. Can shards for both (all) characters be earned in a single event/month? Or do we have to choose which one to do? It sounds like the Bounty Hunter events where you choose which one to fight. If so, why not just add two levels to the existing event(s) and make it monthly?
2. How many crystals is it to refresh the event?
3. Will shards for conquest characters still be available in Conquest shop? Wandering Scavengers?
4. Will TB characters like Wat or KAM be added to this game mode?

What does that mean? True f2p would not use crystals. True f2p use crystal where it awards you the best efficiency. With regard to GAC, investing crystals in conquest is mandatory to unlock these key characters

Iirc both Talzin and Wicket were playable t 5 stars (145 shards), making them playable in 8 months (?).

I still think 8 months is better than 29 months.

Okay but how many months to 7* Talzin / Wicket?

33 months

It’s a 33 month farm f2p to 7*

Unless you speed up with crystals like CAT, which is also a f2p option

Since you get free crystals via GAC and Fleet arena so people are being over dramatic here with what f2p means

Why would you not play conquest at all? Then it should take you 17 months to get the character.

How is it a slap in the face when they stated over a year ago that they would make these toons farmable after a year

How is it a slap in the face when you were able to get CAT 6 months early and use her everywhere before she goes to proving grounds for 20 shards a month?

It’s a r3 req event, tip of the spear with r8 and above toons will just auto it in 2 seconds and get bored with it tbh
