Just the relentless punishing and astonishing greed of this game.. not asking for the game not to be challenging or take hard work, but for a game about a story of the good guys defeating the Empire, it’s never been lost on me that it feels like we’re playing a game run by the Empire.

This brings up an interesting point that makes 4 mil make more sense.

If you couldnt get it unlocked the first or second time around... because of lack of roster depth, aka not having 4 mil gp, then perhaps thats the bar.

A player must get to the level they could reasonably be expected to have been able to do it in 6 attempts.

Perhaps thats why.

Making it not about an easier time getring CAT, but rather a push to get you to a deep enough roster where you might not need to play the new mode to get the next character.

Except it does none of those things because she's available in shipments. I'm a f2p at 1.6M GP. From daily rewards, daily GAC payouts, average calendar, and fleet arena alone I get 3900 crystals/week which means I could buy CAT from scratch to 7-star in 11 weeks and still have 300 crystals/week + weekly GAC rewards + TB rewards left over. The ONLY thing this awful decision does is deny me 20 free shards + discounted shards once a month for a reason they haven't bothered to explain. Just dumb, dumb, dumb.

If she reoccurs there, you have your option. Save your crystals and buy her, or grind till you get to 4mil... then farm her.

They wont ever explain the bad decision to you, so those are your options.

Id still say the only real problem here is they told you one set of requirements and then added a new one after.

This puts a possible group out there that started prep work on first requirements with resource, money or both... only to have the new requirement nullify what they just did.

Those people have a legit problem. Anyone now seeing the 4 mil and going wit i cant start the path today... they dont get to call it a problem. Its a decision cg made they dont like.
