Great post. Don't waste attacks, and make an enemy hitting someone at their payout costing them crystals when your own payout is several hours away. The people in my arena with the same payout go after eachother for the top spot, but don't bother other groups fighting for the next hour's payout time. Everyone makes more crystals, and/or drops rank less. Win win situation.
Also for all the responses knocking this idea, it's a bit hypocritical to post on the SWGOH forum about how OTHER people don't have a life, or take the game too seriously. Go enjoy your sunsets. Many of us are here because we know we take it too seriously, and like chatting with others who do too. The OP made a great post for people who didn't yet realize that shard chats are a thing.
