Purge Trooper Commander: Kit Concept

We need an in game purge trooper squad, so I've made my own. His animations would be his attacks from Fallen Order, with Crippling Shot being his unblockable attack and Shock Grenade being...well, his shock grenade.

Calculating Imperial Support, who works best with a Purge Trooper squad and quickly gains stacking damage.

Unit Name - Purge Trooper Commander

Tags - Dark Side, Attacker, Leader, Empire, Inquisitorius, Purge Trooper

Mastery - Accuracy, Defense Penetration, and Health Steal

Imperial Aim (Basic) (Final text, Omega)

Deal Special damage to target enemy. If the target already had Purge, inflict a stack of Purge until the end of the encounter, which can’t be resisted by Jedi enemies. This attack deals 10% more damage for each active Purge Trooper ally.

Shock Grenade (Special 1, cooldown 3) (Final text, Omega)

Dispel all buffs on target enemy and all Jedi enemies. If the target was a Jedi, inflict 1 stack of Purge on all enemies until the end of the encounter. Then, deal Physical damage to all enemies. Inflict Shock and Speed Down on them for 2 turns, and also inflict Stun for 1 turn and Daze for 2 turns on target enemy. These debuffs can’t be evaded or resisted by Jedi. This ability can’t be countered.

Crippling Shot (Special 2, cooldown 4) (Final text, Zeta)

Deal Special damage to target enemy and consume up to 5 stacks of Purge. Deal damage again and inflict a Damage Over Time effect for each stack of Purge consumed. This ability gains cumulative effects based on the number of stacks of Purge on the target enemy:

1+ Stack: Inflict Ability Block for 2 turns

3+ Stacks: Inflict Shock for 2 turns

5+ Stacks: Inflict Deathmark for 1 turn, which can’t be dispelled, evaded or resisted

For The Empire (Leader) (Final text, Omega)

Inquisitorius allies gain +5% Defense, Health Steal and Tenacity for each ally at the start of battle (excluding summons). This bonus is doubled for Purge Trooper allies, and tripled if all allies are Purge Troopers and all enemies are Jedi, Rebels or Unaligned Force Users. If Stormtrooper Commander is an ally at the start of battle, and all other allies are Purge Troopers, Stormtrooper Commander counts as a Purge Trooper.

I Don’t Need Them (Unique) (Final text, Zeta)

Purge Trooper gains a bonus turn whenever another Inquisitorius ally is defeated. If that ally was a Purge Trooper, Purge Trooper Commander also gains +20% Offense (stacking) and inflicts a stack of Purge on all enemies until the end of the encounter. Purge Trooper Commander assists whenever another Purge Trooper ally attacks a Jedi, Rebel or Unaligned Force User enemy during their turn, dealing 70% less damage (limit once per turn).

Whenever Purge Trooper Commander attacks outside of his turn, he gains 3% turn meter for each active Purge Trooper ally. After using any ability, Purge Trooper Commander deals true damage to all Purged enemies equal to 4% of their Max Health. This true damage can’t be countered.

Recommended Mods: Offense + Potency

Land the Commander’s crippling debuffs frequently with Offense and Potency.

Triangle (Holo-Array) Primary: Offense

Cross (Multiplexer) Primary: Potency

Circle (Data-Bus) Primary: Protection

Arrow (Receiver) Primary: Speed

Secondaries: Speed, Offense, Potency, and Protection

Hm. I like your idea. I want to make a similar team if you don't mind.

  • Because they're not Inquisitors - they work just fine with them, but they're not the same. The team, and this guy specifically, already has TM gains, and besides which I don't want to make a kit that's just a re-skinned Inquisitor.
