Question about Scorches Name

So with Scorch why is he the RC(Republic Commando name) and not IC(Imperial Commando). This would work with him being a Imperial during the start of the Empire. Since the republic was abolished. Plus this gives the chance for a delta squad version.  Which would have the Battle scarred armor with the Grenade launcher attachment to his DC-17M interchangeable weapon system. Just throwing my 2 cents out there. 

Side not to make a full squad of Republic commandos just do 1 of 2 options. The Delta Squad 4 plus Gregor or a random white Commando.
