I didn’t realize stagger didn’t work (why is this? It’s no any more powerful than an ability that removes all TM like CLS or Jyn). But still, the TM removal with Spirit assisting will be nearly twice what a Ventress lead would. I don’t think you want a weak zombie, because what if she dies on a counter attack or from the adds right before the tank goes off? A strong zombie will always have taunt.
Regardless of the lead there is no way I would use Daka over Talia. Daka brings nothing to the table, because nobody besides zombie and spirit (if Talzin lead) is going to die.
Overall I just think the extra TM reduction plus all of the extra revives and deaths from Talzin would be far superior to Ventress.
The only reasoning I could come up with why stagger isn't allowed on the B2 is that it allows you to predict TM removal on a boss, more or less, other 100% tm removals can be resisted.
I would take Daka over Talia for several reasons: With an Asaj lead that removes a lot of sources of revive, and with B2's AoE's and a weak zombie, someone else may die... which would be a good thing since it would make Daka and Asaji more effective. I don't see the adds being a problem right before the gun goes off. They should have a very low uptime.
In actuality the main reason I would just stick spirit under the Asaj lead instead is because your tm removal is based on what I call a 3 card combo. You have to have Spirit dead, You have to have no one else dead, and you have to use basic attacks, 3 card combos are hard to set up and keep set up. As soon as you kill an add with a basic attack, spirit stays alive until the next time you get AoE'd. Oh but guess what? Spirit didn't die because she got healed to full from Talia's basic attack... Guess you don't have any more tm removal every turn...
Asaji's will be far more consistent. The tm removal only has a 50% chance to proc, but it can't be resisted. So Asaji will average 10% tm removal per NS turn that you use a basic attack.
Once you get your set up, you will average 17% tm removal (assuming minimum resist rate) per turn that you meet these 3 qualifications: spirit is dead, no one else is, basic attack.
I like the idea of abusing Talzin's lead, but it seems better as a damage based thing somewhere else... like letting Asaji die early on and being the assister. I just feel like there's too many conditionals in your strategy for it to be effective very often, and taking Talia instead of Daka actually makes those conditions harder to maintain.
Without a weak zombie. it would be hard to take advantage of any strategy that exploits death in a nightsister team, especially if you bring along an auto healer like Talia.
Those are basically the big 3 problems I see with your theory:
Relying on specific characters being dead;
TM removal not assured a chance to happen every single turn;
Talia's auto heal
Talia's buffs made her one of the best healers in the game as far as nightsisters are concerned... unfortunately the nightsisters don't benefit that much from a healer, You're better off just to let them die and revive them with Daka. Healing them just keeps the stacks everyone gains from death from rising. Eventually Daka will start reviving them at full health. So I really see Talia as the 3rd big problem with your comp. I would consider using her under a Daka or an Asaji lead (would probably still end up using Daka instead), but I would NEVER use her under a Talzin lead. With the new reworks, trying to keep your nightsisters from dying is a really detrimental viewpoint on how to run them.
