You can find pretty sound mathematical analysis that some players are getting a lot less rewards than they used to. It’s usually bundled with the math that shows Guilds as a whole are better off. That’s all objective analysis, and I’ve seen three pretty good breakdowns that all have arrived at pretty similar conclusions.
Whether or not it’s fair that people who were used to getting top 10 rewards isn’t something that can really be decided by math though. I think it’s fine but can understand people who had no problem scheduling their day around raids being perturbed they lost that advantage. There’s certainly room for subjective discussions about that. I’m mostly just taking issue with bad analysis of the data that is making claims like we’ve lost out on credits, or that the new system gives less rewards than the old to most guilds as a whole.

I’ve gotten 12m credits since the raid changes last week. I buy them whenever they’re in the store because I need them more than the gear. This has been significantly more than I got in the old system, so I’m not sure what the perceived problem with crystals is. I’m happy to trade Mk1 gear for more crystals, and it’s nice to have the option."MaruMaru;c-2423571" wrote:"DeusArt;c-2423565" wrote:"MaruMaru;c-2423554" wrote:
Ah yea, then the initial assumptions goes sideways when you assumed all rewards you used to get was for bottleneck gear while most of them were merely useful as scrap. Not even scrap, because the scavenger areas they cover is taken care of by "easy gear".
I expect that when time goes new bottleneks will be appeared. Becouse raids covered a lot of gear that seems enough and usually goes to scrap. Now when we could buy our current bottlenecks everything will be changed.
For those who didn't accumulate it before as example Mk 10 BlasTech will be painfull while previously it was passive income. And credits for those who didn't hoarded millions. I could't up my Jawas from 1 to 85 for last 3 weeks.
Credits are an issue that needs to be resolved and my bet is it will be resolved. It is not like they've been trying to bottleneck us on credits for quite a while. If you need lesser bottleneck gear at some point, you grab that one as much as you need and not thousands more than you need (which you are currently calculating as the same as main bottlenecks). So yeah, this math doesn't fly. If you expect any outcome from your qualms, focus those down like the credits. Crying out "yuuuge nerf, %50, no %70, any raises?" does.....nothing.
I'm not able to gauge lower rewards well as I don't need them. Mk2 is all I care about personally. However if I see(hear?) a sound mathematical argument other portions of the player base take a significant hit I'm for that situation to be resolved by cg. So far I haven't seen it.
