If you were to try mathematically streamlining usefulness of gear averages you get from old raids, you would need to look at total times they are used. Your example as mk3 bacta gels can be considered pretty much needed in this sense, it is used 70 times. Not the case for all those gear types.

- https://swgoh.wiki/wiki/Mk_6_Merr-Sonn_Thermal_Detonator_Salvage - Shard Shop/Crystals/GT/ 16 MK1 cost - 226 times needed
- https://swgoh.wiki/wiki/Mk_10_BlasTech_Weapon_Mod_Component - Crystas/ 10 energy Nodes/ GT/ 36 MK1 cost - 41 times needed
Most of gear has it's own usage and could be applied somewhere. And I stay on my poit - every gear has it's value and could not be ignored. And Carbs MK1 Price is avg price for most of gear from Raid Shop.
