The problem is not the monthly leaderboard, the problem is the rewards you get.
Do you actually see someone getting an advantage? No one is far and away beyond anyone else 1000 points. The advantage of 1 extra raid is minimal.
Its a extra raid per day. Or maybe 2 or 3. You just need enough extra accounts and can have a lot of credits, shards and gear
