I thought it was kind of the point to reward people who develop large effective rosters? Current GAC is great, you basically rise to your level of competence. you win more than lose until you get to the point where you are matched with your equals and vice versa. Getting Crystals in GAC was one of the best changes ever made in this game, removing crystals from there would be huge folly.
