Real time PvP

EA should implement some form of player vs. player combat, whether friendly or competitive, to see how other players actually match up against their preferred squads.
Either for fun or for it to be used as an event, the potential of such an add-on to the game can provide it with much more freedom and can show who is truly the best.

    This sounds like a great idea until you get one of those guys whose internet is apparently powered by carrier pigeons.

    What would stop a player from timing out and ending the match with a draw once they realise they can't win?

    If it's for fun then yes, but it won't happen. If it's competitive, see the argument above.

    Presumably the fact that a live PVP mode would not have to be based on the current arena mechanisms and would have something other than a hard timer or a result where both sides lose in a tie. The OP is only a half baked idea.

    I've played live PvP in other games. I don't really like it and don't really care to see it here.

    CG would need a dedicated Notebook to run it on that :D , with the actual game performance especially in Arena it would be a mess...
