Hmm, I thought it was already unpinned.
It serves a purpose, I guess. People are going to complain.
OTOH, with RNG, you might find ONE way to win. But totally miss a better (slightly higher percentage method). Might it take more "skill" to figure out the BEST way to win, rather than a game where any single way to win will work 100% of the time? Might it even be more fun that way?
I have actually hit Han, and he resisted my QGJ, before. Is that any different? Is it any different when the AI randomly decides to stun, block, or even kill your squishy QGJ before he can debuff? Does it not work in your favor when AI QGJ uses HB on Genosian Soldier (or even worse, on Lumi/Ben Evasion Up, lol?).
With no RNG, a team you can't beat is just that. There's no 1 in 20 chance of winning by a thread and having something to remember.
Even worse, in most cases, two teams can beat each other. As long as the player makes a few correct decisions, which AI will probably not make. With no RNG, they will beat each other near 100% of the time, except in matches where AI actually has the ability to not screw up and happens to make all the right calls. Arena could be worse. Just crabs crawling over each other trying to be on top when the buzzer sounds. There could be way less matchups you can make a calculated guess on beating, because most of them will have the ability to just take their spot back from you with 99% confidence, while you're still on arena timeout.
I am curious how happy you will be if RNG is removed from the game.
I can assure you, it will not make arena any better. Arena is a frustrating experience, either way, if you take it seriously. When 50+ people want to win first place, there is only 1 lucky whale to take that honor any given day. It's a dubious achievement, IMO. Winning first place is either total luck or just a booby prize to the guy that dropped thousands of dollars on a phone app.
Anyways, this is all a sidetrack. I made this thread to put the AI advantage myth to rest, one way or the other. Since you are shifting the argument, I can count you as one of the non-believers, anyway. I appreciate that you respect the numbers, at least.
But while we are sidetracked, what is the REAL problem? Do you really think it is dodge? Or is it the fact you are totally SOL when you whiff on Han/RG taunt? Perhaps problem is not dodge. It's that the entire game rests on getting a detaunt at the right time. I have personally been working on Plo Koon for that reason. There are maybe, just maybe, some F2P alternatives to B2 and SunFac; they just take a lot longer to get. I'll know when I get there.
If every 5 synergy toons works against any other 5 synergy toons 95% of the time, I would have no reason to even experiment or farm anything other than 5 toons. To me that is boring. The meta is there because it works. And it's there to be challenged. By toons and strategy, preferably. Trying to get the devs to change the game for you may be your only prerogative. You aren't going to convince me to agree.

The problem is that we are playing against RNG and a single missed attack can mean the player can lose the whole match!Without any RNG, you will win every single winnable match, once you find the right sequence of buttons to press. So is that better? Is that skill?
