it was posted on the forums, and you and I both know there were plenty of people who saw that and still played the event to receive the shards anyway. Maybe you didn’t. Maybe your friends didn’t. But there are certainly many people who did intentionally exploit, and they are being rewarded for it.

It wasn't posted that it was a bug until much later than the event started. Yes there were posts by players thinking it was a bug but not from the devs. I had already dine the event and promoted my malak to 7 stars by then.

Changing the rewards after I completed the even is bait and switch.
