i just want to say that i feel like the new relic delta thing in the game is making swgoh more difficult to play. i can't really even do anything when it comes to grand arena because i keep getting matched up against people who have 10x better rosters than me. i would like to be able to play grand arena, but the relic delta is ruining it. im at the point of wanting to not participate in grand arena anymore because of the relic delta situation.
I agree. I feel in GAC I am usually terribly mismatched against far better opponents. They generally have the benefit of having a superior roster because they have invested a lot of money compared to myself. But to then give them a second level of advantage takes away from the game. If I was struggling initially against them, but could put some decent counter teams now and then. But it doesn’t matter now. They have bought their shiny, new characters. And get an added layer of bonus.
couldn't agree more. i hate that i can't even use gear 12 heroes against low reliced teams without losing so fast. it sucks
So everyone with a bigger roster has invested a lot of money?
just about yeah. i get put up against people with 8 mill+ or even higher rosters that have like 5 or 6 GLS compared to only 2 of mine. i would like to battle people around the same roster as me
Well you were better than average with your roster. Great work, I appreciate that.
Luckily you will be matched for your "skill" in some time. But you will definitely hit GL / Relic difference no matter what you do.
But there will be always those who just are lazy enough and fall back. Im F2P and got all GLs -> if I start to play only semi actively I'd fall from K2 pretty fast and end up in somewhere and that would be the situation.
There is really NO good way to resolve matching problem that is caused by activity + roster difference + skill difference. If you lag behind in one of the areas it causes matching problem. In your case you lag roster compared to those who are around. They either lack skill or activity.
