Relic materials or Arc trooper shards, what’s more important/useful to you?

So I started grinding arc trooper while I was also taking few toons to g13. Already had some relic materials saved, however once I took one toon to g13 (asaaji) I used all Daves relic mats to take her...

I look at it like, farm the guy up to 7* quick, then go back to relic mats. I have him at 8/100, maybe two more weeks of refreshes.
