There is nothing making you have to log in to get the free energy! If you don't want to log in more than once, then don't. But if you want the three energy then you will log in three times.

In all seriousness, I actually opted in to game notifications, because I kept missing my free energy. Quite helpful!

This makes me think you do everything in the game in 1 sitting. You do all gw, arena, challenges, gearing, etc. At one time?
