Hmmm. Not sure you’re entirely right on this one, regarding fleet crystal income anyway.
How many players are in each fleet shard? A few thousand assuming they’re similar size to squad arena shards? Of those I’d estimate only a few hundred get into the top 50 for their payout. That means that likely only up to 10% of each shard can earn fleet crystals. What about the rest of them? They get the same crystal income from fleets that you do… Now as to whether that is “fair” on the 90% or so of players who then don’t get daily fleet crystals is another question, (having some crystals out to the top 250 is probably fairer) but why should a returning player be entitled to fleet crystals over a player who just made the mistake of not farming the right fleet at the right time and so ended up being locked out of their top 50 for that reason?
On another note, do CG want to help returning players? Probably not. I imagine they’d rather you start a new account, you’d probably end up spending more overall that way, so that’s their business after all. Is it fair, no, but life ain’t.
