Well, just like with the Vet Smugglers, they seem to be about to release a new premium character because they just released two new characters that will probably be required for the event.
We can expect Bastila and Jolee to not be farmable until shortly before the event, and to effectively require you to P2W if you want Revan without waiting 4-6 months for the second opportunity.
If I remember correctly you needed about a vault of crystals each to get the vet smugglers on time, according to what some had posted here.
