The rumor also gained momentum when it was said by someone that a big character heavily requested NOT from the movies is coming soon, and that toon would be Dark Side.
The two most requested characters are Revan and Jango. Jango is in the movies so he's out (though hopefully soon he arrives, along with other Bounty Hunters, since we need them for DSTB).
That just leaves Revan.
But that makes too much sense so we'll probably get someone else.
