Rock, Paper, Scissors
I am liking what I have been seeing with combat after the recent changes. I find myself trying out new teams and combinations of characters and seeing how they perform againt certain teams...
Being able to switch out your team to best approach your opponent has really been fun and has pleasantly gotten away from the kill fest/ first turn advantage we had previous to this.
I hope this is what arena combat will ultimately evolve to. It's nice that there is a counter to everything and if a team is giving you trouble you can adjust and take then take them out. It gives the whales some advantage (which is good) because they have a deeper bench and can adapt to any opponent... But it doesn't disadvantage the ftp player who has one or two solid teams and can still win 2/3 of fights.
Thoughts on this? Do you always run the same team and just trust that they will kick butt regardless... Or do you enjoy the rock, paper, scissors aspect and try out different things to best your opponent?
