I like this, I have my EP at over 80k health/protection but it’s his low armour that hurts his survivability. Great idea mate.

Slow and Stun on a 100% Counter rate taunter rate sounds terrifying. Shore Storm & RG would be absolutely impossible to get through without DN in 5 mins.

Absolutely not, its one thing that Royal Guard can stun and taunt when an ally health is low but to have a counter chance would A ) be extremely tedious to go through and B ) up the difficulty of the military might event final phase to impossible

Royal Guards were the Emperor's elite protectors and this Unique will both increase Palpatine's survivability and make Royal Guard viable again, because right now he is basically useless and underpowered!

Being the "Other" tank for EP/Vader is one thing - it'd be way cooler to have him in your line up then GK, but would fit better then SiT or even Shore, really. I'm all down with RG sharing health with EP, bringing up his Defense, Auto taunting on 50% and then ALSO 25% on EP. Even into RG getting + Tenacity (to avoid Buff immunity and the like). Totally into you basically needing to kill RG before EPBut the 100% counter isn't right.

He had +50% Counter Chance (doubled if Emperor Palpatine is present), now only 50% on a Taunt.

He is squishy because whats the point of non tanks having the same if not more health than actual tanks, Palpatine is a seriously powerful character and the tradeoff is less health, there is no such thing as a perfect character

And this is precisely where Royal Guard comes in - to protect Palpatine! This Unique will make RG viable and more consistent with canon lore, because in his current state he is underpowered and doesn't feel very "elite", unlike DT acting as an elite protector to Krennic!
