Sabine vs. Chopper: Who Is Better For the Thrawn Event

Chopper is easier to farm

I've heard Sabine is worse than Chopper at lower gear levels. I'm in the same situation. Been saving Cantina Store currency while I decide. Only doing Sabine from Guild store, but I think she will take too long to get to 7*.

I was only able to get Thrawn 6* last time around but I used Sabine over Chopper.

Her unique helps Ezra to hit harder and her specials lower defense and can stagger and expose target enemy.

Sabine is the bomb, I have her at 7* now. I never messed with Chopper.

Only reason to use Chopper in my opinion is because he is quicker to farm. His taunt and dispel are nice so he can work but if you can pick between the two, I'd say do Sabine.

I also use her in Heroic Tank raid for P3. Her Armor Shred is nice and it's permanent so EP/TFP can hit hard the entire time.

Would using chopper and Sabine and dropping zeb work? I have all at 7*, just thinking about gear usage.

I'm going to say no because of the protection regain and the stuns

Sabine is the one to leave out. Between Zeb, Kanaan, and Chopper, the Phoenix get ungodly health and protection regeneration. They even get bonus protection from Chopper for the periods while they have healing immunity.

If the Phoenix dealt some sort of damage to begin with, the % increase that Sabine brings would be worthwhile, but a high % of a little is still just a little. Better to go with the survivability the others bring because that's the Phoenix's strongpoint anyway.

I'm hoping sabine will suffice, I almost have her to 7*. Going into the event, I will have ezra gear 11, all others 8/9 so sabine's unique might be best.
