We've been having big issues with Sandbagging in TW. I believe a simple fix to this is to up the minimum requirement from 25 to 45. This would element the option to Sandbag TW as it would require atleast the entire guild to participate
Ok… and for everyone not in the top tier? I’m happy for there to be changes to reduce any min-maxing which may be going on in TW, but to me a requirement for 40+ players is excessive. YMMV
Edit: thought about this more, and surely more reward tiers at the top end would start to fix this? Force the very biggest guilds to max participation for better rewards.
If your in the top tier. Your going to have a full guild. May lose 1 or 2 here and there but your guild wont fall below 45.
Well there's a few tweaks they could do. Try to take the amount sign-ups into account for match making. 25s vs 25s, 45s vs 45s etc. Either have teams per zone to match the guild with more sign ups or at least somewhere in the middle. Keep matching the teams that win vs the teams that win. I believe once you've won a few in a row, you've basically broken the algorithm.
I agree with the OP that guilds definitely do this. I despise min-maxing more than a marmite, natto and egg sandwich!
However, min sign ups of 45...that's not a productive solution.
A guild capable of coordinating that kind of selective sign-up is probably already strong enough to win plenty of normal 45–50 player wars.
Anyways, I agree with Notthatotherguy.
Which would prevent any guild with less than 45 members taking part. Absolutely not!
