Secondary Leader Slot Idea

So obviously your leader goes into slot 1, Your secondary leader goes into slot 2 when selecting your 5 Characters.

Secondary Slot Leader ability has leadership abilities reduced by 50% but is still applied as if they were in the leader slot 1.

e.g Darth Traya in Slot 1, Savage Opress in slot 2. = Traya's Normal Lead + Savage's lead but Savage's lead is halved by 50%. (Traya's Lead + 37.5% Defense and 15% Tenacity for all Sith Allies)

For balance this will NOT work with GL Leads.

Make the ability material beyond rare to acquire. Like (0.05% chance to drop Cantina 9-A)

0/1 To apply so its a 1 and done (feel like winning the lottery)

Ability must be added to the secondary characters toon leadership. (e.g Savage Opress, Pain is weakness. Lvl 9 - 50% of Leadership is applied in Secondary Slot.) This will really make players think about who they apply this rare ability to.

  • I like this, but alot of leader abilities are too strong to count as a 2nd leader. This could be selective to give some characters more use. For example, this would make Lando Calrissian really relevant again. Ackbar leading and lando assisting would lead to a really fast early game rebel team.
  • There are many leads that there is no 50% reduction to do. Would darth revan in the 2nd slot apply deathmark on the enemy leader?
Would Hera cause Phoenix allies to share uniques?
    Would GAS prevent revives?
None of these can be simply cut in half.

Many percentage in kits cut in half would be a benefit. Mon Mothma: assisting allies have damage reduced by 90%. Cut that one in half and the rebel fighters are smashing way more damage out there.

This idea would require major work on nearly every lead ability, and would be a nightmare to try and balance.

The game already has a way of having 2 leads active on the pve tables, why not just use that? Have a chromicron or something that activates as if they are in ally spot.

Still would be a balance nightmare, so no thanks from me.
