  • No explanation and, in particular given that it woke me up, no apology some six hours later is I think very unreasonable of EA.

Maybe we should ask some questions to the legal team of CG and EA.
Data protection and Privacy policies are important topics in Europe.
The question about who is able to write notifications/messages to us ....

That's not how GDPR works. It's a notification on a game you've already shared your data with on a game that already sends notifications. Broken? Possibly. Data breach? No reason to think so.

    Merci for your reply @CHFC22
My question was and still is, who send this non-relevant notification.
In my opinion a question CG could answer in no-time. But we have a lack of communication here.

It's reasonable to assume it's from CG, so not sure they need to come back at all. I suspect if they do it'll just to say it was a test!

The message is from the game, there is nothing to suggest otherwise. So the question of who is clear. The relevance of the message has no legal bearing in any way, you have given them permission to send you notifications.

It happened after normal business hours and that makes it more difficult to get answers to things that are not breaking the game.
  • At least an answer. Merci @Kyno
I'm sorry for posting something in german language. And I'm fine with your decision to delete my post.
For myself I decided to deactivate all notifications from SWGOH.
    Have a nice day
