Selling items in store
If I sell items in store does it mean that I won't have the items for upgrading and how come I can't transfer items for my inventory to my characters?

Each character is assigned a different linear gear progression path...so not every item is equipable on any hero. The only thing to do with the sell items feature at the moment is to get credits for the droids from BH challenges and Events.
