You can buy the Implant Prototype / Component part for crystals you know. Probably the best value crystal gear buy out there.

I think this is the real heart of the issue. If you are buying the other piece for crystals, you will also need to buy this piece from somewhere. If you are not spending crystals on it, you'll usually have enough from challenges by the time you can get enough of the other one.

I don't use crystals on the protoype and, haven't done it in years, and i'm still running out of the challenge gear part

You get 3-4 per sim, ~17 each time the STR challenge day runs, and less than a full craft each week

It's not necessarily right. The other part is also needed to craft g12+ holo lenses while the challenge piece is only below g12 and it's always used together with the other part.

So yeah, I'm fine on those.

I'm in the same guild for years now and i'm the second in command, i don't care for any other guilds out there. And i don't care for others getting more or better stuff from TBs, TWs or whatever ~
