They have been telling me I will run out for at least couple years now. Added another 2M GP since then ... My pile fell to 500 a while back, but coming back up now. Maybe relics helped this whole situation some.

In any case, 25k ally points for 5 salvage is a bad deal, but if I needed them I would not hesitate to buy them. I buy other bits of trash in there if I need them, but the trash they are offering for AP lately has not been a motivator for me.

2nd, 3rd GL might do it. Another 30 or so toons at g11+ might do it too.

There are 2 types of players: those who are experiencing the biotech salvage crunch, and those who aren’t experiencing it yet.

2nd GL haven’t done it for me. Rey done, all toons done for JML and still have 860 of the challenge gear.

However I can clearly see my stockpile have dwindled and I can imagine running out at some point, but haven’t met the crunch yet...

Once I thought the same way as OP... I had over 2000 of those piled up and nothing to spend them on, because I lacked the other eyeballs. Now, it's almost the other way around lol.
All of a sudden, they were all gone!

I use to wonder the same exact thing myself until it started happening to me as well. It just happens and now I'm right back to where the OP is now. There comes a time when you build a squad that either needs em or doesn't and you can definitely run out before you know it.

Also if you buy the hyperdrive bundle there's more chance you aren't low, as there were a ton in that thing.

I keep thinking this is going to happen to me too, but at almost 6.4m gp and still haven't run out. I am under 1000 now though so maybe at 7 mil?

I have a little over 1,000 of those at 7.1m GP. I had over 2,000 at one point but used most of those while gearing a ton of toons from G11 to G12. Actually got to a point where I was having to buy them from guild store. Most of my work lately has been going from G12 to G13 where those aren’t used as often so my stockpile has built back up some.

I need them, but that's a steep price for them. I'll keep using ally points elsewhere and earning these another way.
