It's more than a few seconds. But even assuming it is, why? Why force me to spend those few seconds if the result is going to be the same and it can be done in 0 seconds?
Autodeployment works just fine so long as someone has placed their defenses on the first round. What's the benefit of making people manually deploy later rounds?
