Why still after 10 yrs of playing the game does the drop rate drop to almost 0 when you get under 4 shards needed for 7th star? 20 attempts and got 1 shard...??? This is every time. I guess it so we spend crystals on refreshes that are just wasted away? Yet need 80 or more and you pick up usually 4 with attempts. This is one of the reason, legacy players leave the game.
The drop rate for any given item is equal to the amount of energy spent * 100% * rarity. The rarer the item, the lower the drop rate. The 30% or 33% drop rate was mentioned because there was no reliable data for long periods.
They'll never make the drop rate 100% because then everyone would be able to level up their characters in G13.
12 more trying shard... the rate is not 33% or 30% far less
Ive now done 35 attempts got 1 shards, that's no where near 33% or 30% drop rate. Seems pretty fishy,
It’s completely psychological. You’re only noticing how many drops you lack when, in your eyes, it really matters.
Fret not, you’re not being deliberately screwed over.
I guess it just does not like me, its every time for, get great drop rates till its the final 4.
33% is not the same as 30%, just sayin’.
There have been studies on this, and there’s no evidence of drop rates being altered.
When I finished Inquisitor Barris’s farm recently, I got 11/15 to take her from 90/100 to finished on the last day I farmed for shards.
