I dunno, there are better ways to gate completion that putting in silly requirements for characters almost no one wants. Like making the combat missions actually challenging, with interesting mechanics that might take a few attempts to learn.

Gates should not be tied to pay to win. Unless they want to switch to a monthly subscription model and sell us content that way... though I suspect they would make less money. Still ewok requirement and ship requirement for ships that have been over 6 months behind a paywall.... not cool,
