This update seems fantastic!
With the exception of ships. I'm not sure how you did it, but I gotta hand it to the devs. They took what I felt was an RNG crapfest that was a total chore and somehow made it more boring, more of a chore, and more RNG dependent than ever before. To top it off, they nerfed nearly every ship and require you to pay (via in game currency) to power them up.
It's literally the worst thing to happen to the game and i couldnt even fathom something like this as an option.
