Actually I've got it on pretty good authority that was exactly what happened.

I'd disagree every team is the same though. Different reinforcements will make a huge difference to the outcome of battle imo. furthermore, these reinforcement ability mats seem like they're going to be so rare, people's choice on who to put them on will be a huge decision and influence battles significantly.
