I generally agree that this guy won't be the end-all-be-all of the game (and, if he is, he'll be rebalanced eventually, so why get bent out of shape before he's even come out?) but I have to nitpick this line of argument because I'm seeing it used to talk about a lot of characters.
"He's slow, only X speed" doesn't work any more, not in this era of mods (AKA: The MODern Era. I'll be here all week, tip your waitresses) where you can get +50 on a character. True, you can use speed to make an already-fast character faster, but the net increase on a slow character really brings them into viability.
Anyway, as I said, I'm not getting angry before this character is even released. I think the only folks who are going to get him right off the bat are tournament winners, who are the type of folks who I don't face in Arena because I'm not invested to that degree, so by the time it affects me there'll be some new hotness out there.
