If you aren't having fun, then yes, definitely stop.
But it sounds like the reason you aren't having fun is because your expectations are too high. You're not going to 45* the territory battle if your guild can't get past phase 2 of HAAT. And who cares if you don't have Han? You use Han to get Leia, and then you use Leia to get........ 30 more guild event tokens. You can finish territory battles just fine without having ever stepped foot in a Special Mission.
Just relax and stop taking the game so seriously. Last night I did my 2 required arena battles, then went to bed. I forgot to do the last 3 on a Saturday night when they would have counted towards the daily guild activity. When I woke up the sun was in the sky and the world hadn't ended, the game hadn't deleted itself off my iPad, the guild hadn't broken up.
It's fine. Just chill. This game is a meaningless distraction from the fact that we'll all be dead soon enough and that history will have forgotten us all because we're just tiny little specks in a cold and dark and lonely universe.
