I feel this discussion has slightly veered to what type of strategy used and what players feel is better or not (attack or wait) and trying to justify which is better.
To the initial point, no there should be no bonus points because someone gets to attack first. The game is global, obviously covers many timezones and oh....people have lives, jobs, family which is way more important than a few extra banners.
Probably best to close this thread as although its a reasonable question, the clear answer is no. Theres no further value to further questioning.
