Others: No. Fleet Arena is something the player gets to schedule to fit their time zone. GAC is not able to be scheduled by the player. The two are not comparable.

Lordy, really? No one was saying, "My gosh, is there a benefit to waiting?" If you want to start a discussion, you should actually read the responses. The objection isn't due to being unable to see a benefit to waiting. The objection is because this is an international game and people aren't free to schedule GAC.
Your proposal would penalize or grant bonuses to people based on where they live and/or what shift they work.
It's not a good look. People disagree with you. Disagreeing with you is not the same as failing to understand you. You look to all the world like you actually believe that no one can hear your argument without agreeing, but, again, disagreement is not the same as failing to understand.
