Great point about playable content! HSTR is one of the biggest events available, with a variety of setups and different ways to beat it; a good litmus test for how strong are some of your non-meta GL's. Sorry to everyone complaining about certain event schedules overlapping, but there are still many days when a one-time login to run daily events is all there is that day. HSTR and AB's are also invaluable things to do, otherwise you might only be left with a manual run of Galactic War!!
No one is saying take away your ability to do hstr. Guilds can run any raid if they like. But there are a lot of us that just want to sim the raids because they've become stale, boring and time wasters. We'd rather have rewards that give better amounts of gear to the overall guild, especially considering it is in everyone's best interest for the guild as a whole to grow quicker so you can start fighting for those R9 mats.
