Sith Raid Preview

I believe we may get a last minute marquee in there that includes Sion :) However, I do wish it was like last year where everyone was announced at the beginning of February and we got to gaze at the upcoming events/new toons in our rosters for the whole month! There was a plan set for the month/schedule for the events we were waiting for and it was great! Not sure why everything is all secret until the last minute now :/ But still, we will get new content regardless!

It’s just a shame because so many of us were lead to believe early on in the month that big things would be happening this month.

Darth Nihilus is hard to top but it could have been done. Expectations were high and so far the reality of the situation is far more underwhelming. I have to agree with @Paladin033112 I think last year, seeing the characters really did build the anticipation, but this year, with the Lord of Pain event being renamed, and a serious lack of information for a raid due to launch in 6 days, it feels like maybe there is/was a plan in place, but it seems to have gone out the window.

I was super excited for February to be the month of the sith. I’m currently running JTR in arena and although I’ve considered switching to palpetine, I’ve been lead to believe there’s a lot more to offer and I’ve been holding out for that. The last time I was this excited for this game was when CLS was announced, and all of that was kept pretty quiet too until the last minute. At this point it feels more like anticipation as to whether we will get the new content at the proposed date rather than excitement.

I guess we all have to take solice in the fact that EA/CG always come through in the end as hope that we all enjoy what is to come. Seriously though, I’m afraid to say that whatever happens now, February has not been the month of the sith in my eyes.

Well, so much concern about it....
For me personally, as long as any announcement happens in Feb, it would still be the month of the Sith.
Even if they were like „okay, you‘ll get the Sith Raid and a new Sith every 25th of each month until 2019“ on Feb 28th, that would still qualify for month of the Sith.

What kind of units will get bonuses in this Raid? Most likely atm would be Sith as we do not have enough Old Republic units. Would you think the rumors be true, that it might be Jedi, leading to a rework?
The only thing that would annoy me is the fact that so far only LS has influencial factions in raids

Announcements are like prize boxes - probabilistic, not deterministic. They could put a pic of the raid in the game and a countdown of a 2 weeks. See that? The stuff came as announced. We didn't say when you could play it.

I thought they say we will be in for a surprise in Feb? Marauder doesn't even count as an appetiser..

I’m wondering if the new “sith raid” will turn out like the “jedi raid”.

Aat is anything but a “jedi raid” and yet it was touted as one when it was released.
